JACKSON KIDS REFUSE TO DEFEND CONRAD MURRAY AT MANSLAUGHTER TRIAL

Los Angeles, CA – It’s hard to believe but has been over two years since Michael Jackson’s death shocked the world. A world that didn’t think it would ever get past the death of the King of Pop has done so quite successfully with little interruption. Lives have gone on and the sky did not fall.
Well, that has been the case for most people. For Conrad Murray the world hasn’t really moved on at all since that fateful day. Now more than two years removed from the horror he no doubt felt that day, Murray is currently enduring a new horror in the form of his manslaughter trial, a trial for playing a role in killing one of the most beloved people in the world.
While no one can really predict the outcome of the trial, one thing that has pushed people towards concluding that a conviction is all but a lock is the mounting witnesses against Murray. Alongside that has been the relatively small number of people actually speaking up for the doctor, actually supporting him. Now it appears that despite their one time affection for Murray, the children of Michael Jackson will not be testifying for the man who most likely killed their father.
“They just don’t want any part of it. They aren’t even watching it on television. The whole thing is just too painful for them, understandably, and they just want to be left alone. They had been asked to testify for Murray, as character witnesses, but they have declined and will not be subpoenaed to do so,” said a Jackson insider. “Generally when you have to force a character witness into court they are not going to be very 
good ones. Murray had hoped that they would be on his side but it appears that even they have left him. Their loyalty is still primarily with their father.”
Prince, Paris, and Prince II (Blanket) may actually testify against Murray, further imperilling his defence and very much hurting his feelings.
“He has heard that, that the kids may be willing to testify to what they saw in the bedroom that day. He really doesn’t like that and feels it’s kind of a betrayal. He realizes they are just kids but he feels he has always been loyal to them and now they have been turned against him and that just makes him sick to his stomach,” continued the insider. “He knows he can’t talk to them directly and so he can’t do much to change their minds, but he does want them to do that, to change their way of thinking. He still very much likes them and he hopes they still like him as well.”
The children have not commented publicly on the case. It’s not clear if they will appear on the stand but at least one, Prince, is apparently more than willing to do so. He was apparently the closest to Murray at one time
“Children as character witnesses are usually not all that reliable or valuable in court, especially this far removed from the person. Kids grow quickly and their beliefs and attitudes change so rapidly that, generally, opinions aren’t taken all that seriously in court proceedings,” said Scrape TV Legal analyst Gabe Hawthorne. “Hopefully these issues don’t cause serious problems between the two groups. I mean Murray did kill their father and so there is always going to be some friction between them, but hopefully it doesn’t totally ruin their relationship. That would be just one more tragedy.”
Murray does apparently have a few friends left, though their names have not been revealed.
