CONRAD MURRAY’S MOTHER BEGS FOR THE MERCY HE DIDN’T SHOW MICHAEL JACKSON, DOESN’T GET IT

Los Angeles, CA – No amount of criminal justice will ever make up for the loss of Michael Jackson for most people. Aside from his family members and friends, Jackson was beloved by millions around the world to a level that had never been seen before and may never be seen again. For those people no amount of prosecution will ever compensate them for their loss, but it will be a start.
After being convicted a few weeks back, Conrad Murray is now in the penalty phase of his trial, a period that will bring some small satisfaction to Jackson fans. As is standard, friends and family members of the convicted person are able to speak on his behalf to try and procure a more lenient sentence. One of the first of those people is Milta Rush, Murray’s mother, who pleaded with the judge to go easy on her son and show him the mercy that Jackson did not receive.
“He has never been in trouble with the law before and I am barely standing, scared and worried sick about him being incarcerated. He is saddened and remorseful about the death of his friend Michael Jackson and I do believe he is certainly learning the toughest lesson of his life. I sympathize with Mrs. Jackson as a mother; I feel her pain for having lost her son. I sense she was very close to her son,” Rush wrote in a letter to the judge in the case. “I humbly beg for your heart felt consideration of everything I have said about Conrad, and ask for your compassion and leniency in giving him probation or community service.”
Murray faces up to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. In cases such as these the convicted usually receives two years in prison and two years probation, but because of the high profile of the case many expect Murray to serve the full term.
Many have also noted that the brutality with which Murray injected Jackson with propofol, the substance which killed him, will also factor into the court’s decision.
“There are a lot of complicating factors in this case that will make it very difficult to render a sentence other than the full term, the biggest of which is of course the fame of Jackson. That alone is going to demand a specific response that the judge will have to respond to,” said Scrape TV Crime analyst Willard Weston. “Add to that the viciousness of the incident itself, the brutality of the death, and I don’t think the judge will really have much in the way of choices no matter how good a person other people think Murray is.”
His mother added that Murray never smoke, drank, or did drugs. This was his first murder as far as anyone knows.
“Look, he didn’t kill a fly or a mosquito, he killed the biggest pop star in the world and that is going to demand action. He says he didn’t mean to do it and the court agreed with that, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have to pay,” continued Weston. “I mean Jackson paid the ultimate price for Murray’s actions so the least Murray can do is the four years. For Jackson it was a life sentence, four years really isn’t too much to pay for that.”
Weston, our correspondent, was a very big Michael Jackson fan, even wearing a faux-diamond studded glove as a youth.
Update: Murray has been sentenced to the maximum making his mother very upset.
