MARINES SAY THAT PEEING ON CORPSES NOT OFFICIAL PRACTICE AND WILL INVESTIGATE VIDEO

January 11 2012

Washington, D.C. – Left alone, removed from the confines of decent society, and surrounded by peril around every corner, soldiers often do strange and bad things. Some soldiers go totally insane, doing things like collecting body parts of the dead, while others unleash their internal animals and simply become feral creatures, committing untold atrocities against innocents. War does that, it is a messy business.marine

Those type of events effect every fighting force no matter how well trained or disciplined. One needs only look at what American soldiers have done, everything from raping minors to killing puppies, to see that no military is free from abuses. Now the U.S. is dealing with a new controversy, one that they are vowing to crack down on in a hurry.

At issue is a new video that suddenly popped onto computer screens showing a group of Marines urinating on the dead corpses of four Afghan men, something which is not only not a part of official Marine training but something which has been explicitly addressed in the past. Now officials for the USMC have started an investigation to not only track down the perpetrators but also make it clear that peeing on dead bodies is not the way the U.S. military does business.

“While we have not yet verified the origin or authenticity of this video, the actions portrayed are not consistent with our core values and are not indicative of the character of the Marines in our Corps. This matter will be fully investigated and those responsible will be held accountable for their actions,” an official for the USMC told TMZ. marines

Traditionally Marines pee on each during their group showers but such actions have long been discouraged on the battlefield.

The video makes it clear the soldiers did have plenty of other places to pee and that they did not need to urinate on the corpses.

“This type of thing is salacious and stupid, but hardly the worst thing the U.S. military has done in Afghanistan. I mean when you compare it to things like bombing schools full of children or raping teenagers, this is really not that big of a deal but the real issue is that they were told not to do this and betrayed that order. Discipline needs to be maintained and that is what failed here,” said Scrape TV Military analyst Michael Kent. “It’s a slippery slope from peeing on corpses to eventually blowing up children or raping young girls. Well, I mean it could be. I don’t really know about that, I don’t think any studies in that regard have been done but it could certainly happen.”

The Marines in the video have not been identified as child murderers or rapists, yet at least.peeing

“Soldiers do not have to option of not following orders and that is the case for a lot of very good reasons. They are there to follow orders and that is all there is to it. Once they start thinking on their own everyone is in trouble. Besides that, not having Marines who are toilet trained is really an embarrassment for the entire U.S. Armed Forces,” continued Kent. “It’s obvious from the video that they could have gone elsewhere to pee. They wanted to pee on these rotting bodies for whatever reason. I mean I guess it shows those insurgents but putting bullets through their heads was probably enough of a statement. They didn’t need to violate military etiquette and rules to push that even further they really didn’t.”

It’s not clear if any of the soldiers suffered from bladder issues which could be a reason for peeing on the corpses.
