Toronto, Canada – Call it one more Canadian power pairing, following in the tradition of BTO and Rush, with the impending marriage of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. The pair announced their surprising engagement to literally dozens of fans who await word of their every move. The pair apparently met while working on, ahem, music together earlier this year and are now ready to tie the knot. It’s believed that the marriage, should it even happen, will not last very long and no one by that stage will care about the divorce one whit. It’s not believed that the marriage will have any impact on the music, good or bad, in any way shape or form.
