CAT SAVED FROM EXECUTION BUT WILL STILL BE DEAD IN A COUPLE OF YEARS
April 14 2012
Chicago, IL – Boots the cat is safe, for now, after a judge decided to block a portion of the will of his former owner which dictated that her pet be put down. Georgia Lee Dvorak had stated that Boots was to be euthanized upon her own death, a request which spurred controversy in the city, ultimately resulting in the stay of execution. Boots, 11, will be transferred to a loving home where he will likely die of natural causes in a couple of years, or get run over by a truck, or eat something poisonous.
