MEXICAN U.N. OFFICIALS DEMANDING THEIR COCAINE SHIPMENT FROM POLICE

January 27 2012

New York, NY – Mexican officials at the U.N. are demanding their diplomatic shipment be returned immediately after it was seized by New York police. The pouch, bearing the official U.N. seal, contained two hollowed-out notebooks full of cocaine. The package was seized by police in New York. Mexico has filed an official protest with the police in order to regain access to the pouch and the contents. Thus far, police officials have not commented.
