Bill Allen and his producing partner are in discussions with MGM and Sony to not only bring about a DVD release of RAD but to also produce a sequel. Francis Ford Coppola and Talia Shire are also involved. Show the studios that you care. Tell people about this page and we'll tell them how much you want it to happen.
As you may know, RAD is one of the greatest movies of all time. It is without a doubt the greatest BMX movie ever put to film. Unfortunately RAD has never been officialy released on DVD in North America. There have been numerous bootleg copies rolling around, but nothing deserving of the greatness that RAD deserves. Help us to bring RAD out on DVD.
RAD was owned by Embassy Pictures, which is now a long defunct film company. The rights to many of their films have made their way to other companies, but RAD seems to have been lost. Check out their Wikipedia page here.
Here is the US Copyright info on the film. MGM owns the rights. Let them know you want it on DVD. If you have contact info for any of the other people involved in the films production, tell us.
